Local Graduates Receive Scholarships

Nine area high school seniors have been selected as recipients for the 2012 BEK Communications Scholarship Program.
This year, BEK awarded three $500 academic scholarships, three $500 vocational/technical scholarships and three $500 BEK Broadcasting scholarships. Since the program began in 1994, BEK has awarded a total of $71,500 to graduating seniors.
BEK received a total of 40 scholarship applications this year. Congratulations to the following recipients:
